Terms of Service

Count Assist · Last updated: 2026-05-10

By using Count Assist ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. Read them carefully.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your country, and able to enter into a legally binding contract. The Service is intended for professional contractors and small businesses.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. What you can do

4. What you cannot do

5. CountAssist-generated content

CountAssist estimates are suggestions based on publicly known prices and your inputs. They are not binding professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing every quote before sending it to your client and for the final price you charge.

6. Pricing and payments

The Service offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are charged in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

7. Data ownership

You own the data you put into the Service. We process it strictly to provide the Service — see our Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but the Service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where our company is registered. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
